In 2025, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were two of the most discussed cricketers in India. They made a significant impact during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, IPL 2025 and every ODI series they participated in that year. However, surprisingly, neither of them could make it to the list of most wanted people in 2025. Instead, Vaibhav Suryavanshi emerged at the top. This 14-year-old batsman rose to fame in IPL 2025.
Suryavanshi, a left-handed batsman, attracted everyone’s attention with his outstanding performance throughout the season. He amassed 252 runs in the seven matches he played, including a century and a half.

He created history by scoring a remarkable 35-ball tally against Gujarat Titans as the second fastest centurion in IPL history. His strike rate for the season was an impressive 206.55.
Following Suryavanshi comes Priyansh Arya, who is known for his outstanding performance with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in IPL 2025. The left-handed batsman scored 475 runs in 17 matches, which earned him a place in the India A squad for his brilliant run.
At number three is Abhishek Sharma, who has cemented his place in India’s T20I squad in 2025. He became a regular in the XI, beating out Yashasvi Jaiswal for a place in the Asian Cup squad. Abhishek has scored 756 runs in 17 T20Is and India is set to play five more T20Is in 2025.
Shaik Rasheed and Jemimah Rodrigues are ranked fourth and fifth respectively. Rodrigues was part of the Harmanpreet Kaur-led India team that won the 2025 ODI World Cup trophy.
The right-hander played a crucial role in the semi-final against Australia, scoring a match-winning century as India successfully chased down 339 runs in 48.3 overs, remaining unbeaten on 127 off 134 balls. He contributed 24 runs from 37 balls in the final.
