President Donald Trump landed in China for his summit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, accompanied by an unfamiliar face.

The three-day visit marks the first meeting of a US president with a Chinese leader since Trump’s previous visit in 2017. Trump hopes to achieve several political agreements with Xi Jinping, including increased purchases of American food products and aircraft.

Although Melania joined her husband on his 2017 visit, she is not accompanying her husband on this occasion. He is traveling with a number of senior officials, including his son Eric Trump, daughter-in-law Lara Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and several high-profile CEOs, including Tim Cook and Elon Musk.

Lara recently posted a photo featuring some of the delegation members, including a woman many might not immediately recognize. But people are probably much more familiar with his work than they think.

Who is the blonde woman with Trump in China?

The blonde woman in the picture looks like Trump’s executive assistant Natalie Harp. According to the Wall Street Journal, he is the driving force behind Trump’s posts on Truth Social.

Trump is known for his late-night activities on the social media platform, with more than 50 posts shared in some sessions.

During Monday’s rush, her account posted 17 posts in an hour; these included numerous reposts from his own supporters hailing him as “the greatest president ever.”

One post featured a sign on a vehicle that read, “Trump is without a doubt the greatest president we have ever known.”

Another featured an AI-generated image of Trump with gold handwritten text that read “Greatest of All Time.”

The account published a total of 55 messages between 22:14 and 01:12.

It looks like Trump may not be running this account alone. According to the WSJ, sometimes Harp is the one actually publishing the content.

What were the ‘racist’ Truth Social posts?

Sources familiar with the matter told the publication that Harp printed out stacks of draft social media posts for the president to review and sign. He then reportedly logged into his account and posted some of the Trump-approved material in one go.

These images allegedly include racist images of former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michele Obama in the form of a monkey, published on February 5 and deleted, and an artificial intelligence image of Trump appearing as Jesus Christ, published on April 12 and deleted.

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung told the WSJ that he had not been discussed “internal discussions about how the process works.”

“Truth Social has never been this hot, and that’s because President Trump is presenting his unfiltered and direct thoughts to the American people, without the biased media taking him out of context,” Cheung said in a statement, adding: “We’re not discussing internal deliberations about how the process works, but no other social media outlet has been more effective than Truth.”
