Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang: Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang unveils Computex trade show in Taiwan. What to expect from AI event in Taipei?

The speech is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. at Taipei Music Hall. This comes nearly two weeks after she accompanied US President Donald Trump on a visit to Beijing as part of a powerful corporate delegation to meet Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
Huang, who has rock star status in Taiwan, is expected to talk about Nvidia’s artificial intelligence chips, software and systems. Attention will likely focus on data center products, such as the new Vera Rubin AI computing platform and Vera central processing unit (CPU), and efforts in markets such as robotics and autonomous driving.
Nvidia is also building a Taiwan headquarters scheduled to be operational in 2030. This would bring it closer to TSMC, a major supplier that produces many of the advanced semiconductors that power AI systems.
One potential area of focus is Nvidia’s efforts to develop an Arm-based PC chip that will challenge Intel and Advanced Micro Devices, as reported by Reuters in 2023. The chips take about two years to design, and Huang said the central processors, or CPUs, are tailored to consumer AI hardware.
When the company reported quarterly results last month, Huang aimed to reassure investors that Nvidia could continue its rapid growth. He said a broad range of customers and new products will help the company surpass the nearly $1 trillion in sales it estimates for its flagship AI chips.
Computex is expected to attract 1,500 attendees from 33 countries worldwide. CEOs of Intel and Qualcomm will also speak at the fair.
