Oba Femi and Jey Uso kicked off the Night of Champions with their King of the Ring final match in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
The winner of the match will receive a title shot of their choice at SummerSlam. Femi, who appeared to have Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns on his mind entering the match, fought with Uso all night. Uso hoped to win the match and face the undisputed WWE champion, thus bringing another world title back to The Bloodline.

Uso tried his best to get Femi on his back. He did this towards the end of the match with multiple thrusting strikes, a running shoulder block to Femi’s midsection, a spear, and an Uso Splash. But this was far from enough to eliminate “The Monarch.”
Uso’s conquest was in vain.
Femi regained control and threw Uso to the mat with his brute force. Femi hit the Fall from Grace and pinned Uso to win the match and become the King of the Ring.

“It’s such a good feeling to go from ‘monarch’ to being king,” Femi said in his post-match promo. “Jey Uso didn’t understand what he was facing tonight. He thought he was just fighting a man. You can beat a man, but you can’t beat fate, you can’t beat fate, and most importantly, you can’t beat me.”
“I am the ruler, the destroyer, the bringer of war, the mountain you cannot climb, the mountain you cannot conquer, the one, the beast hunter, the one, the chosen one, the king of the ring, Oba Femi!”
Femi will now have to decide who to follow.
Since they are both Raw superstars, Reigns may have the best choice. However, Sami Zayn won the Undisputed WWE Championship in a triple threat match against Cody Rhodes and Gunther later in the night.
