Officials told to ensure schemes reach tribal communities

Deputy Commissioner Fauzia Tarannum called on the authorities to make an honest effort to ensure that the benefits of the central and state government programs to the tribal communities.
On Tuesday, a three -day training workshop was opened at a private hotel in Kalaburagi at the Taluk level organized by the Regional Administration, Zilla Panchayat and the Social Welfare Department.
The workshop was organized as a part of Adi Karmalayogi Abhiyan, a flagship attempt aimed at bringing tribal communities to the social mainstream.
The deputy commissioner said that 30 states and union regions across the country, 550 regions, a Lakh village and 3,000 blocks said that to strengthen tribal communities and help them develop their social stance.
“The master trainers who have already been educated as part of the initiative will train 30 taluk level officials from five departments in the next three days.

“The lack of documents and Know-how to resort to these plans prevents them from obtaining the benefits. There is a terrible need between educated ordinary Karmamstayogis and Adi Samyogis, teachers, doctors and self-aid groups, and to strengthen the communities at the base level,” he said.
