Ohio Dance Instructor Opened Fire at Party After Her Husband and Boyfriend Learned About Her Affair

A dance instructor in Ohio learned of her sentence after she opened fire at a New Year’s Eve party after her husband and boyfriend found out about each other.

The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office said: Olivia Clendenin He was sentenced to 16 to 20 years in prison at the hearing on Thursday, March 26.

He learned of his sentence two months after he was convicted in January of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault and one count of unlawful eviction into a residential property.

Prosecutors said the attack took place on Jan. 1, 2025, at a home in Clearcreek Township.

During the trial, prosecutors said Clendenin was in contact with both men on the evening of the incident. He then allegedly went to the party and fired eight shots from a .40-caliber handgun.

Johnson spoke during Clendenin’s sentencing and revealed he was at a New Year’s party at the time of the horrific incident. He also stated that he is still affected by the shooting and suffers from chronic pain.

“I was invited, too, and I was sitting on the porch minding my business. The defendant was trying to shoot at someone else, and I ended up getting shot,” Johnson told the court. channel 3000. “My life changed at that moment for reasons that had nothing to do with me.”

Clendenin addressed Johnson during the sentencing hearing, saying he was “very, very pleased that he’s doing well after a difficult time he’s been through.”

Meanwhile, one of the victim’s family members said Clendenin showed no remorse for the shooting.
