On delimitation and Parliament seats | Explained

The story so far:

The Union government had promulgated the Constitution (Chapter 131). Amendment) Bill to increase the maximum number of seats in the Lok Sabha from the current 550 to 850. He had also submitted a bill to establish a Delimitation Commission in 2026. However, the Constitution Amendment Bill was rejected in the Lok Sabha and subsequently the Limitation Bill was withdrawn by the government.
