Paris deputy mayor Audrey Pulvar blames US for deadly France heat wave

Paris Deputy Mayor Audrey Pulvar issued a lengthy statement blaming the United States for the deadly heat wave in France last week.

“Dear American journalists and social media influencers: For days now, some of you have been criticizing and making fun of Paris because not every room in the city has air conditioning. Oh my God, it’s so rich!” he he wrote on Instagram Friday.

He added: “As the world’s second largest emitter of greenhouse gases, you bear significant responsibility for global warming and the consequences we are experiencing in France. Your cities that are ‘90% air-conditioned’ have nothing to do with it. In Paris, we take responsibility.”
