One Nation under Trump: Pauline Hanson’s MAGA moment

After a Nation David Farley recently won the Farrer by-election, Senator Pauline Hanson came into focus with a speech that sounded vaguely familiar.

It is often thought that Pauline idolizes US President Donald Trump because they both share similar political views (such as inciting hatred, being racist, and a penchant for corruption) and they both love the color orange.

But when Pauline grabbed the microphone and caught Farley’s attention, it was impossible not to notice the few similarities between her speech and Trump’s 2024 election victory speech.

Pauline Hanson (2026): I want real people to join us who want to become Australians and join our journey to make our country the greatest country in the world again.

Donald Trump (2024): This is a magnificent victory for the American people that will enable us to make America great again.
