One of Labour’s biggest donors has contracts worth £3.5million with Sadiq Khan

A donor of labor, which gives the party more than £ 5 million, has millions of contracts with the town hall of Sadiq Khan.

Dale Vince’s firm ecotation has been paid more than £ 3.5 million to provide power to the Mayor’s Great London authority (GLA) since 2020.

Green industrialist donated more than 5.5 million £ to the Labor Party or politicians in the same period, including Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Deputy Leader Angela Rayner.

There is no proposal for inaccuracies, but critics said that revelation could lift their eyebrows with taxpayers.

Election Commission data shows that political donations are made through the Ecotriklik company that provides the certified vegan ‘green energy’ of Mr. Vince.

The figures obtained within the scope of the Freedom of Information Freedom have been paid £ 3.55 million by the town hall since 2020/21.

This includes more than £ 1.3 million at 2023/2 – in the same period, Mr. Vince, in the same period, worked millions of labor for the general election war fund.

Reform Reform UK Zia Yusuf said: ‘Dale Vince, one of the biggest donors of the Labor Party, has been given a taxpayer of 3.5 million pounds from Sadiq Khan’s Great London authority in the last five years.’

Susan Hall, the conservative leader of the London Assembly, described the revelation as ‘very interesting’ and said that Mr. Vince had previously provided power to the Municipal Hall.

‘I can assume that GLA only checks that this offers us the best value for money, but I’m grateful for giving me information about it so that I can examine it. I will definitely ask questions about it and check that the Londons are valuing for money twice. ‘

Ekotricity said that there was no connection between his contract to provide power to GLA and Mr. Vince’s donations to the Labor Party, and the town hall did not participate in the submission of Sir Sadiq’s contract.

After the selection of Sir Sadiq in 2016, the company started to provide GLA 100 percent of its power.

As an answer to the question of a past mayor, he said: ‘As of April 1, 2019, the town hall has passed to 100 percent green energy with renewable electricity provided by Corona and green gas.’

At that time, the City Hall was expected to end the contract in March 2020, but the current contract has been renewed since then due to its expiry of the period in March 2026.

In addition to the donations of labor, Mr. Vince financed the destruction rebellion and vegan activist group Animal Rising, which tries to sabotage the Great National, as well as stopping the oil in the controversial eco campaign group.

However, in 2023, Mr. Vince announced that he would stop financing by saying that he would be more ‘inefficient’ than the activist group. Instead, before the last year’s general elections, he began to donate a great amount to the Labor Party.

Mr. Vince was an important figure at the 2024 Labor Party Conference and made a series of media and speeches, including Labour’s environmental campaign event.

He also campaign with Sir Sadiq with net zero and environmental problems, and two men brought together Earthfest, the Sustainability Festival Earthfest.
