A young man was arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 79-year-old man.
West Yorkshire Police have launched a murder investigation after an elderly man was attacked on Aberford Road in Garforth on Wednesday evening (October 29).
He was taken to hospital and sadly pronounced dead.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Detectives from West Yorkshire Police’s Homicide Squad and the Major Inquiry team are carrying out extensive investigations.
