Piers Morgan accuses Tim Miller of Trump derangement syndrome on air

Piers Morgan accused Tim Miller said Tuesday that the former Republican strategist showed “a clear symptom of Trump instability syndrome” when he said on “The Bulwark Podcast” that President Donald Trump had done “nothing good.”

After Miller argued that Trump shouldn’t have to tone down his criticism of the president, Morgan challenged Miller to name one positive thing Trump had done.

“I’m afraid right here we have a classic example of a clear symptom of Trump’s instability syndrome,” Morgan said.

This view comes after Miller said Trump’s critics are often accused of having “TDS” even when, in his opinion, they are telling the truth about the president.

WHITE HOUSE RESPONDED AFTER ‘SLOB’ JB PRITZKER SAID THAT TRUMP WAS SUFFERED BY ‘DEMENTIA’

“What do you want me to do? Be a liar, polish his poop, pretend to be something he’s not.” Miller said. “I mean, look, if the truth is, everyone who starts working for Trump, then fights with him and leaves, ends up looking like me.”

“So John Kelly thought he was a fascist. [James] Mattis, [Anthony] Scaramucci, we can get to the bottom of the list. They all look like me because I’m telling the truth about it,” Miller said.

Morgan then interrupted the discussion with what he called a test.

“Let me do a test. Tell me one good thing Trump has done,” Morgan said.

Miller pushed back, saying he believed Trump’s presidency was part of a larger flawed political project.

Tim Miller has rejected a challenge from Piers Morgan, arguing that Donald Trump’s presidency is part of a wider “rotten” political project.

“The Abraham Accord is something people said it was. It turned out to be a sandwich,” Miller said, referring to the normalization of diplomatic ties between Israel and many Arab states during Trump’s first term. “No, I think everything turned into a sandwich.”

Morgan pressed Miller again on whether he could identify anything Trump did well.

“What do you think you’re doing that’s a good thing?” Morgan said.

Miller dismissed the suggestion: “Nothing. I think it’s a disaster.”

Morgan later listed border security as a Trump accomplishment that Miller should be willing to acknowledge.

“Obviously, closing the southern border… Preventing millions of people from crossing the southern border illegally without any due process was wrong. [Joe] Biden has reached catastrophic levels,” Morgan said.

BIDEN REJECTED JUDGE TRUMP’S BASIC IMMIGRATION POLICY

Miller argued that Biden acknowledged criticism of the border records but Trump blocked a legislative fix and then pursued an immigration policy that Miller called un-American.

“Biden’s policy is out of control. It’s too late — this is a political criticism of him — Biden went to Congress and tried to find a solution. Trump filibustered that solution and then did it by executive order,” Miller said.

Morgan called Trump’s role in freeing hostages held by Hamas in Gaza a success.

“It was a great success for Israel to get the remaining hostages out of Gaza,” Morgan said.

Miller said it was good that the hostages were released, but argued that it did not make Trump’s overall Middle East policy successful.

“Of course it’s good that the hostages are out, but that doesn’t mean his Israel policy is good,” Miller said.

While Morgan continues to criticize Trump’s decision to go to war with Iran, he said he deserves credit for that specific outcome.
