Pistons fans chant ‘Angel Reese’ at Wendell Carter Jr. during Game 7 blowout win over Orlando Magic

There’s home advantage, and then there’s the Angel Reese treatment.

In a winner-take-all Game 7 that felt like a chaotic episode of “Love and Basketball,” Detroit Pistons fans turned Little Caesars Arena into a psychological battlefield.

The target was Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr.

The gun was his girlfriend.

When the Magic big man took the court during Detroit’s stunning 116-94 win, a deafening chant of “AN-GEL RE-ESE” rained down from the rafters.

The background consists entirely of soap opera.

Carter Jr. Before dating Reese was linked to Pistons star Jalen Duren.

During this series, Angel Reese made a fuss when she shared Instagram moments of Carter Jr. dunking on Duren with the caption “PLAY THE SONG.”

Pistons fans haven’t forgotten. And the tactic worked.

While Duren played like a charmed man with his double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds, Carter Jr. He looked confused.

With every dead ball, the Motor City faithful reminded him exactly who was watching.

After weeks of “shades” of Reese on social media, Duren had the last laugh by sending Carter Jr. home for the summer.

Reese has yet to respond to the chants. In Detroit, the message was clear: Dating history in the playoffs is fair game.

Detroit moves on. And Carter Jr. has a long flight back to Orlando and has a lot to explain.
