PM Modi to Undertake 5-Nation Visit from July 2-9

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take a five -national tour to join the BRICS Summit in Brazil and expand its ties with several key countries of India’s global South. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA), Modi, as well as Brazil, will visit Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia during the eight -day trip.

Modi on the first leg of the visit will visit Ghana between 2-3 July.

This will be the Prime Minister’s first binary visit to Ghana. Within thirty years, the first visit to Ghana from India will be the first visit to the Prime Minister.

Mea said that during the visit, Modi would meet with the Ghana President to discuss more ways to review the strong bilateral partnership and to develop more ways through economic, energy and defense cooperation.

Modi from Ghana will go to Trinidad and Tobago during a two-day visit between 3-4 July.

Since 1999, there will be the first visit to the country by an Indian Prime Minister.

During the visit, Modi will meet with the president of Trinidad and Tobago Christine Carla Kangaloo and Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar. It is also expected to appeal to the joint session of the Parliament of the Island Country.

Mea said that the Prime Minister’s visit to Trinidad and Tobago will gain fresh acceleration between the two countries.

Modi will visit Argentina between 4-5 July.

According to Mea, the Prime Minister will hold extensive negotiations with President Javier Milei to further improve India-Armistin in key areas such as defense, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, trade and investment.

“The Prime Minister’s bilateral visit will deepen the multi -faceted strategic partnership between India and Argentina.” He said.

Modi will go to Brazil with the invitation of President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva in the fourth leg of his visit.

The Prime Minister will visit Brazil between 5-8 July 2025 to participate in the 17th BRICS Summit and then a state visit.

This will be Modi’s fourth visit to Brazil as the Prime Minister.

17. The summit of BRICS leaders will be held in Rio de Janeiro.

“During the summit, the Prime Minister, global governance, peace and security reform, strengthening multi -sided, responsible use of artificial intelligence, climate action, global health, economic and financial issues will change views on lock global issues.” He said.

Modi is likely to have several dual meetings on the sides of the summit.

Mea said that he would go to Brasilia with President Lula on the expansion of the strategic partnership between the two countries in the fields of Modi, trade, defense, space, space, technology, agriculture, health and people in the fields of opposing connections to Brazil to Brazil.

Modi will go to Namibia on the last leg of his visit.

This will be the third visit to Namibia from India.

During his visit, Modi will have bilateral talks with President Netumbo Nandaitwah.

It is also expected to give an address in Namibia Parliament.

“The visit of the Prime Minister is the reciprocity of India’s multi -faceted and deep -rooted historical ties with Namibia.” He said.
