Police arrest three men in attempted murder probe after ‘serious assault’ | UK | News
Three people were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following what was described as a “serious attack” on Monday evening.
Emergency services were called to a residential address in Northern Ireland on the evening of Monday, July 20. A Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) spokesman said they rushed to news of the attack on Duncairn Parade in north Belfast shortly before 6pm.
Police officers will remain at the scene until the early hours of Tuesday. Belfast Live reports . Authorities in Northern Ireland confirmed that three men, one in his 30s and two in their 40s, were in police custody and were “assisting with investigations”.
A PSNI spokesman said: “Shortly before 6pm today, Monday 20 July, police received a report that a man had been assaulted inside the residence.
“Three men, one in his 30s and two in their 40s, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in police custody to assist with investigations.
