Investigation commander Andrew Bailey said police received several reports of a “dark-skinned” young male, described as “Indigenous”, “African”, carrying a 30cm knife into Westfield Woden, smashing display cases in a phone shop, stabbing a woman in the thumb and forcing a driver out of his car.
