The Metropolitan Police have released body camera footage showing the moment officers captured the suspect behind a terror attack in which two people were stabbed in north London.
Two men, aged 76 and 34, were stabbed in Golders Green shortly after 11am on Wednesday, April 29.
One of the victims, Shilome Rand, suffered a stab wound to the chest while leaving the synagogue.
The stabbings represent the latest in a series of attacks targeting London’s Jewish community.
The 45-year-old man, identified as a British citizen of Somali origin, is being held in custody after being shocked by officers.
Footage released by the Met shows the moments just before his arrest.

Police officers can be heard repeatedly demanding “drop the knife” before the stun gun is activated and the suspect collapses to the ground.
He was persistently instructed to “drop the knife” as the force claimed he tried to attack and stab them.
In the midst of the chaos, a voice can be heard saying “yes, I understand” as the knife slides to the right of the suspect, who remains on the ground.
The footage ends with the suspect being handcuffed and informed that he has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Accompanying the footage posted online, the Met said: “Watch police officers confront a man suspected of carrying out a terror attack in north London in which two people were stabbed.

“The suspect refused to show his hands, became violent and continued to pose an open threat.
“Using only their training, courage and stun guns, they took him into custody while he continued to attack and stab them. This took real courage.”
This echoes earlier remarks by Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley, who praised the actions of police officers after a personal meeting with them.
“These are nothing short of extraordinary,” he said.
“They will tell you they were just doing their job, but I dread to think what the outcome might have been without their courage.”

The attack sent shockwaves through the local community, with Jewish leaders stating that “this was brutal.”
A number of prominent political figures also expressed ‘concern’ following the incident, while Prince William and Kate confirmed they were monitoring the situation closely and were “of course concerned about attacks on the Jewish community”.
Victim Rand, who is being treated for his injuries in hospital, told ITV News: “People are really worried, people are scared, people are uncomfortable walking on the street, people are openly accusing the government of not doing anything about what’s going on.
“Our society has been suffering from these types of attacks for the last few months. And now it’s continuing and trying to take people’s lives, and it’s truly terrible.”
“The government, they’re the ones who can take care of the problems. And they’re not doing their job.”
