The police are trying to determine that a fourth person died after they could not contact Triple Zero because of the optus deduction.
After the efforts to enter the emergency number that failed in 10 hours of deductions on Thursday, the deaths of two adults and a baby have already been confirmed.
An eight -week -old baby and a 68 -year -old woman died in Adelaide, the third death was attached to the attempt to call a triple zero up to 600.

“This information did not face the relevant increase at that time.”
He confirmed that an independent investigation would be initiated.
Federal Communication Minister Anika Wells said that after a review of a similar interruption, the problems should be discussed.

In November 2023, more than 10 million optus customers and businesses have been connected for more than 16 hours.
Although it is possible to do this on a mobile phone, people could not call the triple zero on the Land lines, and Telco was fined more than $ 12 million to violate emergency call rules during a country’s deduction.

The Prime Minister frightened Optus for sharing the suburbs where deaths only occurred with the police, and he said he got CEO calling to correct it.

“The lack of information flow from the Optus to the appropriate officials of the South Australian government is a bit surprising and asks many questions.”
It was not yet known whether the unsuccessful triple zero calls had a direct impact on the emergencies where people died.
Mr. Rue said he would talk to families when he was appropriate.
