Prashant Kishor vows action against 100 most corrupt politicians, bureaucrats if voted to power in Bihar

In an exclusive interview with PTI, Kishor alleged that corruption was rampant under the NDA government even though the BJP-led coalition was not as notorious as the Lalu Prasad-led RJD.
“We promised to liberate Bihar from land mafia, sand mining mafia and all other types of mafia. To this end, we have made six promises, including cancellation of fake (presumed) ban policy,” Kishor said.
Within a month of the formation of the government, a law will be passed to identify the 100 most corrupt politicians and bureaucrats in the state, “I am sure they are performing pujas to ensure that we do not come to power,” he said.
“These corrupt politicians and bureaucrats will be prosecuted and their ill-gotten wealth will be seized and deposited in the state treasury, where it can be used for the growth of Bihar, which has been hampered by their misdeeds.” he said.
Replying to a question, he said, “I don’t think it will make news if Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav are accused of ’employment scam’. Everyone knows what they stand for. The case is already nothing but a stain on a dirty rag.” killing of seven people. He was neither granted bail nor acquitted. Kishor, who has recently leveled serious allegations against several Bihar ministers from both the BJP and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s JD(U), claimed that he evaded the court by submitting a fake certificate showing that he was a minor at the time of the massacre. “These people wrap a blanket around themselves to hide the clarified butter they secretly consume.” (kambal odh ke ghee pinaa),” the Buxar-born leader said, using a famous Indian proverb.
Claiming that he has “no ambition” to become the next chief minister of his state, Kishor nevertheless insisted that “60 per cent” of his people long for a change.
“For years, some of the people voted for BJP out of fear of Lalu coming to power again. On the other hand, Muslims continued to vote for Lalu out of fear of BJP. Their reason was that there was no other option. This time, they have an alternative,” added Kishor.
Replying to another question, he said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi have no interest in the Bihar polls. That is the reason why they are content to visit the state occasionally and cast aspersions on each other. They do not suffer like us.”
“Lalu and Nitish may be directly responsible for the plight of Bihar, which continues to be at the bottom in terms of development. But the Congress and the BJP should also share the blame because these national parties continued to support inefficient regional leaders just to ensure that they could get a few Lok Sabha seats from the state,” Kishor said.
