Another pinned Instagram post reflected a much more emotional side of her personality and was dedicated to her pet dog, Dulari. Paying a heartfelt tribute, he wrote: “My greatest Beti She gave me love and taught me to love. She is the inspiration behind every good deed I do. All the good deeds I do for animals stem from the inspiration and love I receive from her. She taught me parenting. Prateek Yadav’s cause of death
According to sources, Prateek Yadav was brought to the Government Hospital around 6 am, where doctors declared him dead. While the exact cause of death has not yet been revealed, an autopsy is being performed and further details are awaited.
In early January 2026, Prateek Yadav was in the news after an Instagram post surfaced in which he talked about requesting a divorce from Aparna Yadav, citing personal differences and mental health challenges. In the post, he claimed that Aparna ruined their family relationship and prioritized fame and influence in their personal life. Prateek also claimed that Aparna was allegedly going through a “very bad mental health condition” which she refused to acknowledge.
However, Aparna’s brother Aman Bisht denied the allegations and stated that Prateek’s Instagram account was hacked, saying that the entire post was fake and denied all the accusations against Aparna. Prateek and Aparna got married in 2011 in a high-profile ceremony held in the family’s ancestral village of Saifai in Etawah district.
Who is Prateek Yadav?
Prateek Yadav was the son of Sadhana Gupta and stepson of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav. Despite belonging to one of the most influential political families in Uttar Pradesh, Prateek has largely kept himself away from active politics. He studied at Leeds University and later focused on business and fitness-related ventures in Lucknow. He also ran “The Fitness Planet”, a popular gym in the city, and was known for his passion for health and fitness.
However, his wife Aparna Yadav remained actively involved in politics. She contested the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections as Samajwadi Party candidate from Lucknow Cantt but lost to Rita Bahuguna Joshi. Aparna joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2022 and was later appointed vice-president of the Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission in 2024.
