Premier League: Pep Guardiola questions two-horse title race

The winter transfer window opens on Thursday and City could see both arrivals and departures.

BBC Sport report that Guardiola’s side are close to a deal with Bournemouth to sign Antoine Semenyo for £65 million.

“I have to be careful what I say,” Guardiola said when asked about the Ghanaian footballer’s future.

“That’s why I said yesterday before the match and on match day that the transfer window is now completely closed.”

Meanwhile, there are reports that Oscar Bobb may go on loan to Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund.

Guardiola added: “When it happens, it will happen. I don’t know any news about anything at the moment. You can ask Oscar, not me.”
