Giuffre’s co-author says ‘it’s not too late’ for Andrew to come forward
The co-author of Virginia Giuffre’s memoirs has said it is “not too late” for Prince Andrew to come forward and say what he knows about late pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Amy Wallace, the book’s co-author, said Ms. Giuffre wanted “rich, powerful men to be held accountable” and that Andrew could still help victims of sexual abuse.
“We can say that he still denies what is written in this book. But it is not too late yet,” he said.
“He could have continued to brush aside the things he was accused of with Virginia. He could have still come forward. He was in those houses, he was on the island, he was on the private jet over and over.”
“She can still come forward and say to authorities: I want to validate these women’s experiences.”

Summary: Prince Andrew is under pressure to help the FBI
Amy-Clare Martin writes that Cabinet Secretary Peter Kyle called on Andrew on Tuesday to co-operate with US authorities and provide evidence about Epstein’s crimes.
In 2020, a federal investigator accused Andrew of providing “zero cooperation” in the U.S. investigation into Epstein and his co-conspirators, even though he promised to be willing to help when he stepped down from public duties in 2019.
This week, Business Secretary Mr Kyle told ITV he urged him to stay true to his word. Good morning England: “I think anyone with any information that could bring justice and information to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes should fully contact the authorities who are trying to bring that information and justice to the victims.”
He added: “These victims must come first and they must be at the center of how we discuss and debate these issues regarding the case of Jeffrey Epstein and his crimes. So of course, anyone, anyone, anywhere who has information that can bring about that justice should share it openly.”
“I believe Andrew has said in the past that he would cooperate, and I urge him to stay true to his word on this.”
Shadow justice secretary Robert Jenrick accepted that Andrew must give evidence to US authorities “about what he knew and what he was involved in the scandal”.

Could Prince Andrew be prosecuted for his links to Jeffrey Epstein?
Prince Andrew may have renounced his royal titles, but his decline doesn’t appear to be over yet.
Once upon a time, Queen Elizabeth II. The royal, widely said to be Elizabeth’s favorite child, is facing calls to step away from public life for good as harrowing details of the allegations against him emerge in the memoir she wrote after Virginia Giuffre’s bombshell death.
The 65-year-old, who has denied any wrongdoing, is also under increasing pressure to give up his 30-bedroom royal mansion and cooperate with the FBI in its investigation into billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
The Independent’s crime reporter Amy-Clare Martin explains:

Where might Andrew move if he leaves the Royal Lodge?
Prince Andrew is reportedly in talks to voluntarily leave the Royal Lodge following anger over the “peppercorn” rent of his 30-room mansion.
Obstacles to reaching a deal include where Andrew, eighth in line to the throne, will live and what financial compensation he will receive for the money he spends renovating the house.
There are properties available to accommodate Andrew at the King’s private Balmoral estate in Scotland and Sandringham estate in Norfolk, but it is not yet known whether he would accept a smaller home away from his supportive daughters.

Prince Andrew faces historic Commons row
Prince Andrew is likely to be at the center of a historic debate in the House of Commons as MPs prepare to debate his future.
In a major break with the Congress, the Liberal Democrats have signaled they intend to use their next Opposition Days to discuss the formal removal of Andrew’s titles. Times reported.
While such a debate would probably not pass the law, it does indicate increasing pressure on the royal family.

‘He needs to confront Andrew face to face’ for King Charles to leave Royal Lodge
As pressure continues to mount for Prince Andrew to leave the Royal Lodge, there are calls for the King to confront his brother “face to face”.
A source who knows Charles told The Times that the monarch should have told Andrew that he “must leave” his 30-bedroom mansion.
“As I always do, I have decided to put my duty to my family and my country first,” Andrew said when relinquishing his titles last Friday.
Referring to this, the source said: “Charles needs to say to his face: ‘There is no choice here, you have to leave the Royal Lodge now. No matter what the lease says. You always say you put family and country first. Prove it. This is really damaging the monarchy. You have to move out.’ “I think this will go a long way in calming the public’s anger.”
