Prince George leaves Princess Charlotte in stitches at Wimbledon | Royal | News

Princess Charlotte and her mother Princess Catherine burst into giggles when Prince George tried to protect himself from the sun at Wimbledon this afternoon. The future King put on his trademark Wimbledon cap and laughed as he adjusted it.

His sister and mother seemed to find this amusing because they laughed as he tried to turn the sides and position them in a more flattering position. Fixing her own All England Club hat perfectly on her head, Charlotte put her hand over her mouth as she began to giggle as she looked at her brother.

The Princess of Wales was also seen laughing as her first child played with a hat. George didn’t keep the hat on for very long and soon switched to an electric handheld fan.

While the temperature hit 29 degrees at this year’s Wimbledon final, Charlotte stayed cool with the traditional hand-held fan and sunglasses.

Mum Catherine was photographed holding the same handheld fan as her son.

The royal party was standing ovation after Zverev successfully defended his title as Sinner collapsed on the court after winning three sets in a row despite taking the first set.

After the world No.1 finished his celebrations, Catherine walked to Center Court to present the impressive trophy, stopping to shake hands with ball boys and girls along the way.

Zverev bowed slightly to the princess as he accepted the second-place trophy, and the field rose to its feet as Sinner walked over to accept the award.

He congratulated the player on another impressive win and encouraged the player to shake hands.
