Prince Louis’s royal ‘best friend’ isn’t who you’d think it is | Royal | News

However, in addition to being close to these royal children, Louis also has a surprising royal best friend who is actually much older.
This is Mike Tindall, husband to Prince William’s cousin Zara and father to some of his favorite royal cousins.
Although Mike is quite old and celebrates his 47th birthday today, he is thought to get along well with Prince Louis, as well as his siblings George, 12, and Charlotte, 10.
This is often seen at royal events, where Mike interacts with Prince William and Princess Kate’s children and takes on the sort of “fun uncle” role that Prince Harry has left behind.
This includes Christmas Day parades at Sandringham and major royal events.
A source once told The Times:: “While some family members can be very ‘noble’, Mike is just himself and is easy-going and playful with George, Charlotte and Louis.
“It helps that they (Mike, Zara, William and Kate) have children the same age so they can spend private time together and bring a sense of normalcy to a stressful situation for everyone involved.”
Although Mike and Zara are not royals, they are believed to be close to Prince William and Princess Kate, so their children also have very close ties to each other.
