Prince William makes rare admission about motorbike ‘disguise’ | Royal | News

Braving the rain and walking holding his umbrella, the prince observed: “The bikes are all placed.” Mr Gourlay said the car he donated to William “will really help make a difference, with a car on every corner of the property, as well as our fleet of motorbikes”. He said: “I know you’re a passionate biker too.”
William replied: “I love cycling.” He later explained: “I still ride quietly now and then.” Then, shaking his head, he added: “Disguise.”
The Prince asked how new the bicycles on display were and Mr Gourlay told him they were just over two years old.
After taking time to chat with the assembled volunteers, William spoke to an elderly hospital patient who noticed activity outside a nearby ground floor window.
The prince waved and said: “I’m so glad to see you, how is everyone, is they all right?”
The patient gave his thumbs up and William responded.
Referring to the rain, William said he had picked a “really terrible day” and that the patient was “much better up there, nice and warm”.
He then peeled off the tape on the side of his new Ford Kuga car, revealing that the car’s name was Prince William.
The charity names all its vehicles, partly because it makes referencing them easier than memorizing number plates.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have privately financed the vehicle for charity in 2025.
