Prince William set to shun Buckingham Palace move when he is King

Prince William is preparing to make a controversial decision to move his family to their homes forever, which will leave the Buckingham Palace without the ruler sitting as a tenant when he rises.

The prince and princess of Wales are reportedly in love with the 300 -year -old Forest Lodge, one of the houses in the developing property portfolio, and they lived towards the end of 2025.

Daily Mail announced that William could be the first ruler in a castle or palace since the Middle Ages.

Eight -bedroom forest hut, delicious marble fireplace and six bathrooms, a three -storey house defined as a half -barreled ceiling with a long gallery and tennis court.

Prince William and Princess Kate have been living with their families in the nearby Adelaide Cottage since 2022, and have been preparing to move to new excavations with their equality, special secretaries and other royal staff.

Despite the size of Forest Lodge, the 1A apartment is not compared with the “official residences” at the Kensington Palace.

The circle is divided into four floors and includes multiple reception rooms, staff bedrooms and even a gym.

Kate and William’s new house was renewed in 2001, but it is currently entering new work paid by the royal couple.

Mail on Sunday reported that two separate families living in huts next to the country’s mansion were asked to evacuate their property.

It is understood that the huts transformed from Forest Lodge’s stables were rented by Crown Estate, and when the tenants are asked to be separated, they are said to be “surprised ..

It is understood that no evacuation notification is submitted and the tenants have moved to similar or better houses elsewhere in the large park of 4,800 acres.

One source said, “I was told to move. I think it was given somewhere else, but they were told to move.”

“They didn’t expect. These houses are very close to the hut, so if there is a royal, they will not want any Tom, Dick or Harry to live in these houses.”

In the UK, there are increasing questions about the viability of William and Kate’s Kensington Palace – at least the Kensington Office was renewed in 2014 at a cost of 4.5 million £ 4.5 million and now used once a year.

Currently, a member of the Royal Family, this mammoth, which is necessary to reset the crumbled royal residence, does not reside in the palace due to a decade re -service program.

Prince William’s approach to Buckingham Palace in the future is reported to have taken the approach of Pragmatti and stressed that Forest Lodge’s family will be the only “long -term” house.

Similar to his father, William will try to radically change how the palaces are used.

The Prince is eager to open Buckingham Palace in more tourists than now. This will create funds for future care while reducing the pressure on the public wallet.

The Prince of Wales also wants to see the ongoing official entertainment amount in the palace, probably using it for government and charitable events.

Anmer room

Kate and William also have Anmer Hall in Norfolk, which is close to Sandringham Palace, where Royals are typically a holiday.

The 18th century Georgian property is a wedding gift from the late queen Elizabeth II, which will hold an emotional place in their hearts.

And it wasn’t a small gift, the hall had ten bedrooms, swimming pools and tennis courts.
