Prince William’s ‘true feelings’ about Beatrice and Eugenie exposed | Royal | News

It was previously reported that William had become increasingly wary of his cousins, who were still dealing with the fallout from their parents’ connection to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The reputations of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson have been particularly shattered in recent months; Many royal fans wanted their two daughters to suffer the same fate and step away from public life.
The King is said to be incredibly fond of his nephews; William puts on full display how he feels about his cousins at Peter’s wedding.
William was seen warmly greeting Beatrice and Eugenie outside the church, even kissing Beatrice on the cheek.
BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said: Mirror: “I think an interesting comparison needs to be made between the way William greeted his cousins at the wedding and his apparent disdain for their father at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral.
“William sometimes seems to carry his heart, so I think we can conclude that he holds Beatrice and Eugenie in no way responsible for their parents’ sins.
“He knew the cameras were there and greeted them warmly.
“It must have been quite emotional for the princesses who were already challenging the lion in his den by attending such a high-profile event.”
Ms Bond previously told the publication that she applauded Beatrice and Eugenie for being “brave” in attending the event.
She said: “I thought it was quite brave of Beatrice and Eugenie to come forward… knowing the cameras would be on them.”
