Proud of Tamil Nadu CM Joseph Vijay Garu, Says Charan

Tollywood star Ram Charan said, “I would like to congratulate Hon’ble Tamil Nadu CM Joseph Vijay garu, who has stepped up from the height of stardom and career to serve the people. Being from the film industry, I feel very proud and congratulate both the people of Tamil Nadu and Vijay Sir.”
Speaking at the pre-release launch of his film Peddi in Chennai, Ram Charan underlined his personal ties with the city: “Chennai has always had a special place in my heart. This is the city where I was born and brought up. Whenever I visit Chennai for my film promotions, it feels like I have come back home. My mother was also born here, so Chennai evokes a deep sense of love in me.”
About Peddi, he said, “I poured my heart and soul into Peddi. In my family, we believe that if you continue to talk about a film even after returning home, it will be a huge success. I have done this for blockbusters like RRR, Rangasthalam and Magadheera. After a long gap, I once again find myself talking about Peddi incessantly to my mother and friends. This in itself is the source of my confidence in the future of this film.” It turned out to be a tremendous success.”
AR Rahman, who composed the music for Peddi, praised Ram Charan as a role model for the young generation. “When Ram Charan visited our home recently, it became clear that he was not stepping into the legendary shadow of his father Chiranjeevi. He had become his own supreme being. I used Ram Charan’s journey to inspire my son Ameen.”
Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, director Buchi Babu Sana and cinematographer Rathnavelu also spoke at the event.
Janhvi Kapoor is the female lead in Peddi and Shruti Haasan has a special song. The film is backed by Vriddhi Cinemas in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.
