Pune Airport Runway Temporarily Unavailable Due to Incident Involving IAF Aircraft

The runway at Pune Airport was temporarily unusable on Friday following an incident involving an Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft, officials said. Officials reported that the aircrew were safe and there was no damage to civilian property.

Efforts are on to make the runway operational and resume normal flight operations as soon as possible, the Indian Air Force said in a post on channel X.

A senior police official said an IAF aircraft suffered a “hard landing” but refused to give further details.
