Putin in Epstein files as bombshell emails exposed | World | News

Jeffrey Epstein arranged multiple meetings with Vladimir Putin, according to latest documents released Friday by the U.S. Department of Justice. In an email sent to Epstein on September 11, 2011, an unidentified employee discusses a “date with Putin” during an upcoming trip to Russia. The person told Epstein: “I talked to Igor. He said the last time you were in Palm Beach you told him you had a date with Putin on September 16th and that he could get a ticket to Russia to arrive a few days before you.”
It is understood that Epstein planned another meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2014. Daily Mail reported. Japanese entrepreneur Joi Ito wrote in an email to Epstein that US billionaire Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn, would not attend.
“Hi Jeffrey,” Ito wrote. “I couldn’t persuade Reid to change his schedule to meet you Putin.” It is not yet known whether the meeting took place. However, a later email from Ito suggested that the plans were canceled after Russian-backed forces shot down Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 over Ukraine on July 17, 2014, killing all 298 people on board.
The Daily Mail also quoted “intelligence sources” in the files as saying that Jeffrey Epstein was running “the world’s largest honeytrap operation” on behalf of the KGB.
According to sources, Epstein was introduced to the world of espionage by his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell’s father, Robert Maxwell, who allegedly spied for the Mossad and Russia.
According to these anonymous sources, Epstein was working on behalf of Moscow and possibly Israel as he facilitated the appointments of some of the world’s most powerful men.
Another document, which included a report by FBI bosses, highlighted how a source told the agency: “Epstein was close to the former prime minister of Israel, Ehud Barak, and had received espionage training under him.” In June 2013, Mr Epstein emailed Mr Barak saying: “Putin will reshuffle his staff in the summer and only bring in people he trusts very much… more information by phone or face to face.”
Sources also claim that US security services have been “monitoring” Epstein’s Russian contacts for years, but that Britain was hesitant to do so due to Epstein’s connection to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
A source said: “You have Andrew, you have Bill Gates. Donald TrumpBill Clinton and others were placed in compromising positions on an island full of technology. This is the world’s largest honey trap operation.
“Americans have been in this for years, but our guys seemed more uneasy about it, probably because of the Royal connection.” All high-profile people named in the files deny any wrongdoing.
