Putin makes bombshell Ukraine war admission – ‘we see the problems’ | World | News

While Russia’s war with Ukraine continues, Vladimir Putin made an explosive confession. The Russian President has made a rare admission about disruptions in the conflict, revealing that Moscow has “problems”.
This follows extensive cross-border attacks on Sunday, June 28, as air wars between Moscow and Kiev escalate. Ukraine was hit by waves of ballistic missiles before launching massive retaliatory drone strikes. They reportedly hit several oil refineries and an arms factory in Russia. Meanwhile, the latest figures show that Moscow is suffering around 30,000 casualties a month and the war on the front line has reached a stalemate.
As reported by TelegramPutin told the United Russia congress: “Yes, we see problems, we are aware of them and we respond to them, but we will definitely ensure the security of both the country and our citizens and the inviolability of Russia’s borders.
“We will undoubtedly overcome all the challenges we face today, including terrorist attacks on our territory and infrastructure facilities,” he said.
Ukrainian drone attacks have also led to fuel shortages in some parts of Russia. In his speech, Putin added that a working group was working to ensure sufficient amounts throughout the country.
His speech came after a Ukrainian drone strike killed one person in Russia’s Krasnodar region. Regional Governor Veniamin Kondratyev added that many houses, as well as power lines and gas pipes, were damaged.
An oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region, east of Moscow, was also hit. The Russian defense ministry announced that 213 UAVs were seized during Sunday’s attack.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said: “We continue our operations that weaken Russia’s ability to continue this war. About 300 km (190 mi) from the front line, the Slavyansk oil refinery in the Krasnodar region was hit. We also reached a refinery in the Yaroslavl region, about 700 km (430 mi) from our border.
“We will continue to respond to Russian terrorism. I thank our fighters for these results. I am grateful to everyone who helped us.”
Meanwhile, it was reported that 36 people were injured across Ukraine in Russia’s ballistic missile attacks on Sunday morning. This includes two civilians in Kiev.
