Rain fury leaves 12,413 acres of farm land under sand, breached tanks and damaged roads in Nizamabad

On Thursday, August 28, 2025, in Nizamabad, a severe rain were left in tears in several manians, because more than 12,000 acres of agricultural land was damaged due to sand deposits.

After the Kamarteddy region, in the Sirikon of the Nizamabad region, Dharpallly, Bheemgal and Entalwai mandals, and the worst -affected rain of rain in heavy rain.

The rivets carried, the sudden water pressure of the villages, the roads and roads cut due to increased flood waters were the order of the day in these mania. Kondapore, Tumpally, Gadkol, Musheernagar, Hanmajiper, Wadi, Nadimitanda, Bejjora and Sirnapally villages were burdening the flashes. Nizamabad collector T. Vinay Krishna Reddy, Nizamabad Police Commissioner Sai Chaitania, Nizamabad Rural Mla R. Bhupathi Reddy and the authorities have largely toured the affected regions.

The preliminary reports received by the Regional Administration have damaged 13 under Panchayat Raj and 29 roads and building roads. Seven houses were damaged in oils, while 60 electricity and an equal number of conductors were damaged. In many places, transformers mounted on agricultural lands are dipped into rain water. As a result of the rains, the power supply to eight villages was stopped.

Aid camps were opened in the villages of Dharpally, Disppally, Nizamabad rural and Jakranpallly to host 358 displaced people. Although there is no loss of life, SDRF and police teams saved 17 people caught in floods. Two people stuck in the consumption office in Bheemgal due to flood from Kappalavagu were rescued by firefighters personnel. Six people traveling in a car, when they were stuck in the flood waters, they had a miraculous escape near Beigjora. They were brought to security with the help of the JCB machine. In NH-44, eight people stuck near the Stalwai Toll Plaza were rescued by aid teams.

Regional administration warned people not to go out for the next 48 hours in terms of heavy rain estimation.
