Ram Charan Keen on a ‘Pushpa’-Scale Film

Ram Charan has had a relatively quiet performance at the box office lately, with his next film Peddi going through several revisions. The actor is currently adding finishing touches to the film and has already locked his next project. The director has given his nod to Sukumar for a two-part action drama that is expected to be set on a similar scale to Sukumar’s blockbuster Pushpa series.

A close friend of the actor clarifies the comparison. “It would be misleading to call it another Pushpa. Ram Charan has asked Sukumar to make a film on the same scale but it will be completely different from Pushpa in terms of theme and treatment,” says the source.

Meanwhile, rumors suggest that Ram Charan is keen on casting Pushpa star Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. However, the actor’s busy schedule can be challenging.
