Ram Charan’s Faux Pas At ‘Peddi’ Event
Actor Ram Charan found himself in the middle of an unwanted controversy during the launch of Peddi’s song Hellallallo in Bhopal on Sunday.
During the event, Ram Charan reportedly did a few slips while interacting with the audience. At one point he mistakenly referred to Bhopal as Bihar.
Later, while participating in a rapid-fire session on Indian cricketers, he mistakenly identified star pacer Jasprit Bumrah as a footballer. These words spread quickly on social media and fans reacted.
Ram Charan later addressed this confusion and issued a public apology to Bumrah in X. Calling it a “genuine human error”, the actor wrote: “Ugh… I’m really so forgetful about names sometimes. Apologies to Jasprit Bumrah ji for the confusion – amidst all the excitement and crowd, it was a genuine human error.” He added that he has great respect for the Indian fast bowler and is a huge admirer of his achievements on the cricket field.
