Rare earth recycling bet: Attero lines up a ₹2,000 crore expansion plan over the next three years

Alekhya Datta, director of electricity and renewable energy at the Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), said: “Recyclers should plan for phased ramp-up, temporary offtake options and working capital buffers rather than assuming immediate commercial adoption.” According to experts, companies operating in rare earth processing may also have to look at foreign collaborations for the technology as the rare earth ecosystem in India is yet to develop.
