Prince Harry will want to show off his two children, Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet, who he is raising in England, a decision regarding his safety in the UK. The Duke of Sussex was last seen in England in September, where he had a brief meeting with his father, King Charles.
Harry will return to the UK this month as he prepares for the High Court trial against Associated Newspapers Limited, which is expected to start on January 19, but it will be without his family. However, the Prince is still waiting for the result of the security review.
A source said: “Any aspects will be taken into account, such as the children’s schooling and other commitments. But if security is resolved, it will open the door to more coming back with the family and bringing the family home more. He was clear on that.”
As reported by Times, They added: “His wish is to show his children where he grew up and the UK. He will want to sit down and think about what it would be like if security dissolved? How should we emerge? We all hope and love for that to happen.”
It had previously been reported that the decision had been “finalised” on Harry’s behalf, but a source familiar with the proceedings said: “I have no idea what the RMB (risk management board) recommendation will be to Ravec (Royal and VIP executive committee), but what I know for sure is that no one else has that opinion either, because they are still undertaking the review.”
“On this basis, claims that a decision has already been ‘finalised’ appear more like an attempt to manipulate the media into revealing the outcome of a fair and rigorous review, although this review is still ongoing.
“Whoever is behind them must not realize how inefficient this is in terms of transparency and due process.”
Prince Harry’s dispute with the Home Office over the provision of automatic police security ended in defeat in May 2025, after which the Home Secretary was given authority to request a review of his protection in September.
This month, Harry will head to the High Court over historic allegations of phone hacking and illegal activity against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL).
ANL had previously announced allegations against him, including phone tapping, bugging of private homes and cars, and claimed he had done nothing wrong.
