Rep Greg Steube introduces bill to put kibosh on H-1B visa program

Republican Rep. Greg Steube of Florida has introduced legislation aimed at eliminating the nation’s controversial H-1B visa program.
“Prioritizing foreign labor over the well-being and prosperity of American citizens undermines our values and national interests,” Steube said, according to a press release. he said.
“Our workers and youth continue to be displaced and disenfranchised by the H-1B visa program that rewards corporations and foreign competitors at the expense of our workforce,” he continued.

“We cannot protect our children’s American dream while they lose their share to noncitizens. That’s why I’m introducing the DRAW Act to reprioritize working Americans,” the congresswoman said in a statement. he said.
