Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado didn’t mince words when talking about Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett, describing the Texas congresswoman as “radical” and “extreme.”

On “Real Time with Bill Maher” on Friday, Boebert joked that the Texas congresswoman would likely support Crockett while sitting next to her U.S. Senate rival.

“Maybe I should endorse Jasmine Crockett so you can do a little better,” he told Democratic Texas State Representative James Talarico.

Among Texas voters, Crockett is currently running ahead of Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton, according to a recent statewide survey by Hart Research.

But Talarico’s campaign has seen an increase in fundraising and media attention. He raised $2.5 million after CBS pulled his interview with late-night host Stephen Colbert due to “equal time” rules for political candidates.

Instead, the interview was uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday and has since been viewed more than 8.4 million times.

DEMOCRATIC SENATE CANDIDATE FELT THE NATIONALIST PARTY ‘DEFINISHING’ AND ENEMY OF FAITH IN RED STATES

On Wednesday, Crockett called Talarico’s move to post his interview online a “good strategy,” possibly something that gave him a “support.”

While Boebert began by congratulating Talarico on his success in the Democratic primary, he also made a pointed statement.

“I think that’s why he and the Democratic portion of this primary are doing so well,” Boebert said. “Because his opponent is so radical, so extreme. It’s just a fake identity. He comes from one place, he acts like he’s from another place.”

CROCKETT SAID TEXAS SENATE DEBATE WAS ‘TOO ENOUGH TO DIMINATE DONALD TRUMP’

After the congressman thanked Talarico for doing his best to defeat Crockett in the race, the Democrat turned to a united front.

“[Crockett] “And I are friends, we serve together,” he replied. “We have different approaches to campaigning and politics, but we are both trying to combat 30 years of one-party rule in our state, which has led to the extremism and corruption that I just mentioned.”

In both late-night demonstrations, Talarico opposed “Christian nationalism” and advocated removing the 10 Commandments from public schools in favor of the separation of church and state.

Crockett was criticized for his rhetoric against Republicans; among them was Republicans referring to President Donald Trump in 2025 as “commitment to this… commitment to the Hitler wannabe.”

Fox News Digital reached out to Crockett’s team but did not immediately hear back.
