Richard Osman responds to poll that shows Brits commonly mistake him for Andy Burnham

Quiz host and author Richard Osman and his wife responded to a survey. Independent This suggested that he was mistaken for Andy Burnham.

The report sparked shocking reactions from the public on social media: “Who is confusing Andy Burnham with Richard Osman? Mr. Magoo?… Richard Osman looks nothing like Andy Burnham.”

“Apparently, in a poll this week, 38 percent of people who wanted to ID Andy Burnham failed! Some people chose a picture of Richard Osman!”

“I would think 60 percent of them knowing who Burnham is is pretty high.”

Mr. Burnham was the subject of a conversation on Mr. Osman’s podcast last month. The Rest is EntertainmentHe co-hosts with journalist Marina Hyde.
