BJP panel meets ECI over Congress president’s ‘terrorist’ remark against PM

A delegation of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) met the Election Commission of India (ECI) regarding its complaint seeking action against Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge for his “terrorist” remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The delegation comprised Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, Kiren Rijiju and Arjun Ram Meghwal, BJP national general secretary Arun Singh and Om Pathak.
