Aaron Phypers accused of leaking Denise Richards nude photos in court

LOS ANGELES — Denise Richards continues to relive painful moments from her past.

On Wednesday, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum temporary restraining order On July 17, she said her alleged effort against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, to discredit her ex during their ongoing divorce not only embarrassed and “embarrassed” her, but also affected her children.

Weeks after Phypers filed for divorce from the reality TV star, the 53-year-old allegedly leaked nude photos of his estranged wife, according to Richards.

“It’s been hard for my daughters, especially because of the nude photos,” Richards, who shares two daughters with ex Charlie Sheen and one with Phypers, told the judge during Wednesday’s hearing. “As a mother, I feel so ashamed and ashamed. [My daughter] I couldn’t go to church.”

In July, Richards petitioned the court, claiming Phypers stole her computer and “distributed private information, including nude photos, to various news organizations.” Judge Nicole Bershon ordered Phypers to return the device within 48 hours.

On July 29, the judge banned Phypers from distributing “private” or “sensitive information” or sexually explicit photos he may have downloaded from his phone or computer.

“Aaron stole my laptop and sent me private text messages that he stole from my laptop without my permission. Aaron threatened that if I called the police I would ‘disappear,'” Richards wrote in her petition for a temporary restraining order. he wrote.

In a statement to People magazine, Phypers denied Richards’ allegations: “I absolutely deny false allegations that I violated the restraining order or stole Denise’s laptop or cell phone. These allegations are not only untrue, but are being used as a weapon to damage my reputation and distract from the truth.”

At Wednesday’s hearing, Richards’ attorney Brett Berman put Phypers in a difficult position.

“How did you get [those photos]” he asked.

“I took pictures of his phone with my phone,” Phypers said. “This was something he hid from me. I didn’t think it was private. … My wife was cheating on me.”

When Berman asked Phypers whether releasing this private material would amount to “invading” Richards’ privacy, he replied: “No, absolutely not. She was already sharing it with someone.”

After Berman asked Phypers how he would feel if the roles were reversed and his sensitive photos were published, he replied, “If I put it out there, I’ll put it out there.”

Phypers divorce case filed July 7 from Richards. She cited irreconcilable differences and is seeking spousal support from the “Real Housewives” star.

The judge granted Richards’ request temporary restraining order against Phypers during their ongoing divorce on July 17.

“Throughout our relationship, Aaron often violently strangled me, grabbed my head with both hands, squeezed my arms tightly, slapped my face and head violently, slammed my head aggressively against the bathroom towel rack, threatened to kill me, pressed his knee into my back to the point where I had to beg him to get off me so he wouldn’t kill me, and hacked into my laptop and phone and hacked into my entire body,” Richards said. “He downloaded my messages,” he said. In documents filed on July 16.

“Aaron regularly threatened to ‘break my jaw,’ cried, begged me to stay, and promised to get help; none of this happened. Aaron gave me at least three concussions.”

“Up until now, I had been afraid to report Aaron to the police or file a restraining order because he had been threatening to kill himself and me if I reported him to the police, among other threats that he would harm me and himself if his abuse was reported to anyone,” Richards continued.

Phypers denied all allegations of mental or physical abuse in a statement at the time.

“I want to address the recent rumors and speculation about my relationship with my wife, Denise Richards,” he told People. “Let me be absolutely clear: I have never been physically or emotionally abusive towards Denise or anyone else. These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful. Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any allegations of abuse are categorically untrue. I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience and respect.”

In court Wednesday, Phypers again denied all allegations of physical abuse. “No, never,” his lawyer said when asked if he had threatened to kill Richards. He later added: “I am not violent towards my wife, no.”

Phypers also stated that he caused Richards’ black eye. “He said he fell, hit the pole,” Phypers said, adding that Richards had been drinking tequila.

Phypers also testified that Richards called him 17 times in less than a week after he was granted a temporary restraining order.

While crying on the stand, Richards said she called “five times because after seeing these photos and hearing these photos … and hearing what they said about me in the press, I felt … it was very scary for me to find this within myself.”

During Monday’s hearings, Richards described multiple allegations of physical and emotional abuse as she detailed horrific events that left the mother of three fearing for her life.

At one point during the hearing, Richards asked for tissues and began to cry, recalling the harassment that occurred in May. Richards claimed Phypers was “very volatile” with her at the Four Seasons hotel, just hours after the reality TV star underwent multiple plastic surgeries, including a facelift.

Phypers allegedly tried to search Richards’ devices while he was sleeping. He allegedly hit her in the face and damaged the drain in the process.

“That’s when I really, really knew our marriage was over because of physical abuse, but it was just getting worse and worse,” Richards said. “But for him to do this to me five hours after recovering from a seven-hour surgery… it made me feel so many things. I was scared and defenseless. I couldn’t walk on my own.”

“And the person I considered my husband to protect me was no longer there. That’s when I really understood that there was no turning back. Doing this to your wife coming out of surgery?

“I felt broken and defeated and so alone and so vulnerable because I had recently had extensive surgery. He knows the body and health and works on people… and he’s doing this to your wife?”

On Tuesday, Richards took the stand again to detail Phypers’ allegedly “manic” behavior throughout their relationship.

In response to photos allegedly leaked by Phypers, Richards sent him a video — some of which was shown in court — that referred to Phypers as a “narcissist” and detailed multiple instances of alleged physical abuse.

“You were the last person I thought would do this to me,” Richards told Phypers via video recording presented to the court. “I don’t know why I had a hard time with this. Things were bad Charlie and I but he never hit below the belt.

“I told my dad, I don’t know why I believed in you and loved you and I really thought you were my soulmate,” she continued. “Never in a million years did I think we would get divorced.”

Richards denied any infidelity but accused Phypers of abandoning their marriage.

“You may claim I cheated, but I didn’t,” he said. “You did something. And I don’t care how long ago it was. The fights were so bad, especially after your family moved away.” [into their shared home]. I did my best to make it not as bad as before. I did my best. I couldn’t do that show anymore.”

“Besides hitting me as hard as you and filing a criminal complaint police report … he claims that I hit his chest three times and scratched his eye. Come on,” he continued. “Low kick. I understand that you are upset that I filed the restraining order, but you hit me too much. Each time the situation got worse. “You were manic,” he claimed.

“You were the one person I always thought I could trust and who would protect me, and you were the exact opposite,” he added. “I guess I’m having a really hard time because I was married to someone I didn’t even know.”

In court documents filed Sept. 29 and obtained by Fox News Digital, Phypers’ attorneys named Richards’ ex Charlie Sheen and “RHOBH” alum Brandi Glanville as witnesses.

In the filing, Phypers’ lawyers stated that Sheen could testify about “Denise’s history of dishonesty and drug and alcohol abuse.”

Richards and Sheen married in 2002 and were married for less than three years before filing for divorce in March 2005, while Richards was pregnant with their second daughter, Lola. They welcomed their first daughter, Sami, a year ago.
