Rival groups clash outside London asylum hotel as police issue arrest warnings

The opponent protest groups clashed outside a London asylum hotel while the police published an emergency arrest warning.

A few demonstrators were detained by the officer on Saturday, August 2, after clashing with rival groups to protest against the use of Thistle City Barbican Hotel in Islington in North London to adapt to asylum seekers.

Clair Haynes, the chief director responsible for the police operation of the Force, said: “In recent days, we talked about the ongoing participation between the organizers of both protests and local civil servants, community groups and partners.

“We understand that there are strong views on all sides.

“Our officers will do the police without fear or good, they will enable those who use their right to protest to do so safely, but will intervene in the symptom of the first actions of guilt.

“We have exercised our powers within the scope of Public Order Law to prevent serious disorder and minimize serious deterioration in the lives of people and businesses in local community.
