Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were criticized following their recent trip to Jordan. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex headed to the Middle East to spend two days in Jordan, highlighting the humanitarian efforts of Jordanian authorities and the various organizations that have supported the health and well-being of Syrians and Palestinians seeking asylum in Jordan for decades.
Harry and Meghan, who left their positions as senior royal staff in 2020 for their personal and financial freedom, met with WHO director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom went to Jordan upon the invitation of Ghebreyesus. But some royal watchers were unimpressed with the couple’s latest so-called royal tour, with one person calling it a “useless exercise”.

“It’s a useless exercise for everyone involved, but this is Harry and Meghan’s life.
“Also, is it a coincidence that they went to the Middle East after Prince William’s historic visit to Saudi Arabia? No.
“As always, they are always desperate to compete with the real royal family and look more and more pathetic each time.”
While other users agreed with this opinion, some also suggested that their titles should be removed.
Another user wrote: “They are not part of RF but they use their titles and announce trips. This is getting ridiculous.
“They MUST lose their titles, otherwise they appear 1/2 in and 1/2 out. Everything they do will be perceived as representing the monarchy.”The king must remove their titles immediately

A third person said: “The king needs to remove his titles immediately.”
A fourth was of the opinion: “The King of Jordan should say no to these two. If the WHO wants to do well, but these two have no influence and should not interfere.”
“They’ve got nothing but negative press, and Jordan doesn’t need it anymore.”
A fifth user added: “What are they telling WHO to get an invite? Are they saying small charities will make these humanitarian problems visible? Honestly what’s going on – ROK needs to remove these headlines immediately.”
During their two-day visit, the Sussexes will meet Jordanian leaders and senior health officials, meet with WHO teams, visit frontline health and mental health programs and meet World Central Kitchen staff coordinating food aid from Amman to Gaza.
Jordan has encountered successive waves of refugees, primarily Palestinians, whose numbers approached 2.5 million 80 years ago, and Syrians who fled conflict in their country recently ruled by President Bashar al-Assad.
The latest wave of displaced people flooded into the country in the wake of the Israeli government’s Gaza war against Hamas, following Hamas’ atrocities against Israeli civilians during the October 7 attacks.
