New documents have shed light on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s long weekend with Jeffrey Epstein, who claims he “cut ties” with the convicted pedophile. Andrew insisted he only went to New York to tell Epstein they could no longer be friends after he was convicted of soliciting a minor for prostitution in 2008.

But files released as part of the US Department of Justice’s (DoJ) records on the disgraced financier suggest a packed five-day itinerary that included a VIP dinner, shopping and a meeting with a Victoria’s Secret Model. Emails between Epstein and producer Harvey Weinstein’s publicist Peggy Siegal revealed details of the lavish dinner, including “gold ballroom chairs” and described the evening as “sensational.”

The day before the former prince was photographed walking with Epstein in Central Park, the financier also sent an email to someone named Irina asking for “new girls” and sent a driver to pick up a Victoria’s Secret model named Lara from John F Kennedy airport for a “one or two-night” trip. Andrew’s insistence that she cut off contact with Epstein after the visit was also contradicted by an email two weeks later that called him and his colleagues “my US family” and wished her a “wonderful Christmas.”

Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing.
