A source close to Sussex claims Prince Harry is assured that his armed security in the UK will be restored. According to reports, this happened after a new risk assessment was carried out for Harry by the royal and VIP executive committee (Ravec). Ravec includes security officers from the Home Office, the Metropolitan Police and the Royal Family, who work together to advise an independent president on who should be protected.
Sources said: “This is now a formality. Sources at the Home Office have stated that security has now been tightened for Harry.” The decision to reassess the risk followed a letter from the Duke to Home Affairs Minister Shabana Mahmood.
