A harsh critic of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has claimed the Sussexes are using glimpses of their private family life as a promotional tool. He wrote in his column: “Here are parents who insist on fiercely protecting their children’s privacy, but who apparently use them as a publicity tool. By shooting from behind or from the side and refusing to show their faces, the Sussexes seem to believe they have reached a clever compromise. But critics see it as just another marketing tool.”

He added: “What remains is a careful drip feed from their distinctive Montecito paradise – seductive looks presumably designed to hook the public.”

Harry and Meghan spent Easter in Montecito, California, and the Duchess of Sussex gave fans a candid look at the family’s day on Instagram. Meghan posted a carousel of videos of her children, Archie and Lilibet, playing and decorating eggs together.
