Rs 1,000 Cr Granted for Works on Pushkaralu

Hyderabad:The Cabinet, headed by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, on Saturday approved allocation of Rs 1,000 crore for initiating works related to Godavari Pushkaralu, scheduled to be held from June 26 to July 7. The cabinet has approved the release of Rs 300 billion as the first installment for carrying out works ahead of the major religious event.

The cabinet also approved the allocation of Rs 587 billion for land acquisition, rehabilitation and development of infrastructure facilities for the Palamuru-Rangareddy lift irrigation scheme.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s Cabinet on Saturday accepted a number of proposals.

District cooperative marketing societies (DCMSs) will be merged with Markfed.

Telangana Rural Infrastructure Corporation (TGRIC) will be merged with HACA (Hyderabad Agricultural Cooperative Association),

20 regular teaching posts, six non-teaching posts and three outsourcing posts have been approved for the newly established degree college at Gangadhara mandal headquarters in Karimnagar district.

The fire station at Kesamudram in Mahbubabad district has been given approval for 18 posts.

Land will be allocated for setting up group headquarters of Assam Rifles, Border Security Force (BSF) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in Karimnagar district.

This includes four acres at Veladi in Manakondur mandal, Rukmapur in Choppadandi mandal and five acres in Ganneruvaram mandal.
