Runners Join NMDC ‘Heritage Run’ at Taramati Baradari
Hyderabad: A large number of runners participated in the NMDC Heritage Run-2026 held at Taramati Baradari on Sunday, celebrating fitness and awareness ahead of the 15th edition of NMDC Hyderabad: The run inspired first-time participants and motivated experienced runners in four categories (24K, 18K, 10K and 5K) and provided an ideal platform to prepare for the marathon. This was flagged off by NMDC Limited Director (Personnel) Krishna Kumar Thakur along with race director Rajesh Vetcha and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Thakur said the heritage run reflects NMDC’s vision of promoting healthier lifestyles while strengthening community engagement through sports. The Hyderabad Marathon will be held on August 29 and 30 and will involve thousands of runners from across India and abroad.
