Police launch murder investigation after fatal stabbing at Primrose Hill viewpoint

Police have launched a murder investigation after a 21-year-old man was stabbed to death at a Primrose Hill viewpoint.
The Metropolitan Police said officers were called at 6.41pm on Tuesday to reports of a fight at the popular North London park, which offers panoramic views of the capital.
Police officers attended the scene along with the London Ambulance Service and treated a 21-year-old man at the scene for stab wounds.
Despite the intervention of medical teams, it was determined that the man died at the scene.
Another man, believed to be in his 20s, was found by police with stab wounds nearby in Regent’s Park Road.
It was stated that the person who was taken to the hospital by paramedics was not in a life-threatening or life-threatening condition.
No arrests have yet been made and the scene remained at the scene Tuesday evening.

Inspector Matt Cox said: “This is a completely tragic incident and our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones.
“I would like to reassure the local community that the investigation is continuing apace and there will be an increased police presence in the area as we carry out inquiries.
“I will appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information that could help my officers come forward.”

Last year, a teenager was sentenced to at least 16 years in prison for fatally stabbing a 16-year-old boy in the neck at a New Year’s Eve fireworks event in Primrose Hill on December 31, 2023.
Areece Lloyd-Hall, 18, was sentenced to a minimum of 16 years in prison in November for the murder of student Harry Pitman.
The incident took place in front of police officers and hundreds of shocked revelers.
Lloyd-Hall, of Westminster, was found guilty following two trials of murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
