Russell Wilson announced his retirement from the NFL after 14 seasons, a career highlighted by a Super Bowl victory with the Seattle Seahawks.
Wilson, a 10-time Pro Bowler and 2020 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year, announced his retirement in a video posted on social media.
Selected in the third round by the Seahawks in the 2012 NFL Draft, Wilson became one of the league’s most well-known quarterbacks, passing for 46,966 passing yards and 353 total touchdowns during his career, which also included stints with the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants.
